Is Sarah Palin smarter than a fifth-grader?

Future presidential hopefuls can learn a valuable lesson from the McCain campaign. It’s fairly obvious that the vetting process for Sarah Palin was superficial at best, but it might have been a good idea to at least ask her, “Are you smarter than a fifth-grader?”

Among the evidence:

I’m a bit dubious about the Africa story, but given the sheer quantity of stories and questions being raised, I think it’s safe to say she doesn’t have what it takes to be at the top.
