SOME people’s phone records should be protected

Apparently, some employees at Verizon looked at President-elect Obama’s phone records ‘improperly.’ So what? Didn’t he vote in favor of Bush’s proposal to allow warrantless wire taps & such? The only information in the record is what numbers were called and when. Yeah, I know, it’s not appropriate for this to happen, but really, when you say that any American can have their phone calls and e-mail monitored, it seems pretty trivial that a list of your phone calls is viewed by a handful of people who work for your service provider. Besides, Obama pals around with terrorists. Shouldn’t we be monitoring his activities?
