Personal hygiene as a litmus test

Some union guy said that the resistance to an auto industry bailout indicates that “Washington will bailout out those who shower before work but not those who shower afterwards.”

I think it would be hilarious if there actually were such a hygiene criteria, but maybe more obscure or specific. Options include:

  • Bail out those who use Crest, but not those who use Colgate.
  • Bail out those who wash their hands after peeing, but not those who don’t.
  • Bail out those who use a roll-on or spray antiperspirant, but not those who use a solid.
  • Bail out those who shave before showering, but not those who shave after.
